Alive
Today is Easter Sunday. We celebrate today the resurrection of our Lord from the grave, thereby fulfilling all the prophecies of centuries before, and, proving beyond all doubt that we too can have life after death eternally. All HE asks is that we believe and trust that HE is indeed, our SAVIOR. Don't let Satan talk you out of receiving the GOOD NEWS.

I keep hearing the phrase "good muslims" spoken by commentators on television. I immediately think of our everyday use of the term "good" and how we define it in our conversation.
I hang out with Christians of all stripes and generally we consider a "good Christian" as one who believes in Jesus Christ as Savior and the Holy Bible as the Word of GOD teaching us His rules of conduct for peaceful co-existence with our neighbors and a life pleasing to Him among other things.
A "good Catholic" would fall into the same category.
A "good Democrat" would be one that follows the rules and guidelines set down by the Party.
A "good Republican" would fall into the same category.
I hope you get my point.
My immediate thought when I hear the term "good muslim" is a muslim who follows his (or her) religious teachings in the same manner as those mentioned above. I understand that the Koran is the rules and guidelines for the muslim religion.
It is my understanding that the Koran teaches that one who does not convert to the muslim faith must pay a tax or possibly punished by beheading or other means of execution. It is my understanding that the muslim faith is also a form of government with the religious leaders as administrators of sharia law.
I believe words have meaning. Therefore, the term "good muslim" seems self contradictory.

New computer
I now have an Apple mac computer. It has been a frustrating experience for me as I have used Windows based since IBM's first toy. Each day I learn something new and today I had success with my online photo albums with Picasa. At 81, my memory is not too hot so I may have to learn all over again tomorrow.
I was all dressed for an early morning round of golf and, having not looked out into the darkness, opened the garage door to find rain falling. That is why I am spending time now on my website and blog (also an ordeal to find and log into the editing sites for both) .
Today I will finish closing out my account with Bank of America, began charging me $25 a month if my balance dropped below $10,000. I have switched to a credit union who charges only $10 a month if the account drops below $3,000. That means that my Christmas giving will suffer this year.
